Auxiliary Support Awards 2024 - 2025

Below is the list of the auxiliaries that applied for a 2024 - 2025 award, listed alphabetically by auxiliary name with program title, amount awarded, and program description:


  • Austin Lawyers Auxiliary - $900 - UT Law Student Scholarship - An annual scholarship given to an upcoming second year of law student at the University of Texas School of Law. 
  • Columbus Bar Association Alliance - $900 - OWjL Camp - OWjL is a non-profit organization of the Ohio Wesleyan University and The Junior League of Columbus. OWjL provides a summer camp program of challenge and enrichment for central Ohio’s gifted middle school students.   
  • Grand Rapids Lawyers Alliance - $500 - CASA of Kent County - To assist CASA in recruiting, screening and training community members so that they are fully equipped to advocate for vulnerable children in Kent County. 
  • Houston Bar Association Auxiliary - $900 - The Leon Jaworski Award - Presented to a member of the Houston Bar Association in good standing who is civic minded, professionally capable, socially and culturally concerned, family-oriented, morally and spiritually aware, and who has demonstrated these qualities over a significant number of years.
  • Ingham County Bar Auxiliary - $600 - Probate Court Child Benefit Fund - The Ingham County Bar Auxiliary focuses their vision and financial donations on the Ingham Teen court and TEAM programs that work to prevent further legal issues by providing intervention and support services. 
  • Kalamazoo Lawyers Alliance - $700 - Kalamazoo Central High School Mock Trial Team - To support expenses involved with running the Mock Trial Team: Travel Coordinator, clothing and accessories, office supplies, briefcases, zoom subscription, etc.
  • San Antonio Bar Auxiliary - $600 - Fox Tech Mock Trial and Debate - To be used by the program’s teacher and coordinator, for clothing, classroom supplies and some travel expenses for the students enrolled in the Andy Mireles Magnet Law School at Fox Tech College Prep High School.
  • Texas Lawyers Auxiliary - $900 - Teacher of the Year Program - The purpose of this award is to honor public and private high school and middle school teachers in the State of Texas who have made significant contributions in law-related education and who have developed such law-related programs.
